@So954Flo I felt lucky as a fan in the sense that I didn’t think we had a shot a Luka. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Mavs had 5th pick in that draft, took Trae Young and traded for Luka.

@JasonPCarney Was it luck? Luka should’ve been the #1 overall pick but somehow slipped to #3 and Mavs pounced on the opportunity

It’s never going to make sense: Luck into generational player. Slowly build the perfect team around generational player. Trade generational player for nothing.
