Big milestone! The first lunches from the Nova Scotia School Lunch Program were served today, bringing affordable, nutritious and delicious meals to students across the province.

Treaty Day, held annually on October 1st, marks the beginning of Mi’kmaq History Month in Nova Scotia. On Treaty Day, we recognize and honour the Mi’kmaw culture and heritage for all Nova Scotians.

School-based, regional and provincial leaders came together with School Advisory Councils today to strengthen local voice in education. 👏
