It’s time for newsroom executives to actually start earning their ridiculous, bloated pay. Because these layoffs are an indictment of their ability to do their fucking jobs. My thoughts;

BREAKING: The CBC is cutting 10 percent of its workforce. 200 jobs that are vacant will not be filled. 600 other jobs will be cut. Cuts are coming to staff & to programming in English & French. The Corporation will need to find $125 million in cost savings for 2024/2025.

As part of Native American Heritage Night and to honor his wife, who is native, Marc-Andre Fleury had a custom-designed mask created by Cole Redhorse Taylor. Mask quotes his dad on back, has names of his kids. He’s bummed the NHL has informed him he can’t even wear in warmups

We dodged a potential catastrophe today. I hope it serves as the wake up call America needs to finally address the crisis happening on our Northern border, which has gone unreported by the media and unaddressed by our political leaders. In just the last *4 months* at the Northern Border: - US Border Patrol arrested a former Brazilian military officer who fled Brazil after being convicted of murdering 11 people. - A Mexican man was charged with being in the country illegally and for smuggling four people across the border and into New Hampshire. - A man was arrested on charges he helped transport nine illegal immigrants into the state across the Northern Border. We cannot be complacent about defending *our own* borders. And as our next Commander-in-Chief, I will lead our country to fix it.
