▎ How do you copy text from a CLI agent into Gmail without extra spaces and bullet formatting? ▎ ▎ pbcopy works but not over SSH. Cmd+Shift+V remove format, not indentation. ▎ ▎ Am I missing something obvious?

Yup, platform activity is surging. There were 1 billion commits in 2025. Now, it's 275 million per week, on pace for 14 billion this year if growth remains linear (spoiler: it won't.) GitHub Actions has grown from 500M minutes/week in 2023 to 1B minutes/week in 2025, and now 2.1B minutes so far this week. So we're pushing incredibly hard on more CPUs, scaling services, and strengthening GitHub’s core features. And as a fine purveyor of hand-crafted shit code for many years, I'm not gonna weigh in on that. 🤣
ThePrimeagen@ThePrimeagen

I would like to make my apologies for defending M$, but I must from time to time. I have to put respect on github for handling the amount of shit code that has been added over the last 3 months. literally 10s of billions of lines of code that will never see the light of a CPU

84% of the world has never used AI. Only 0.3% pay for AI tools. We live in a bubble. Every industry is an open market. This isn't the end of the wave. It's minute one.

I pay for saas I never open. My agent opens it for me. It reads, it writes, it clicks. Faster than I ever could. Saas isn't dead. Saas an agent can't use is.

The funny thing is, the more deals we closed, the quieter I got. It's not a complaint, just the reality of building for big companies. Anyone else in enterprise AI noticing this?

I stopped tweeting for months. Not because I wanted to. It's just how enterprise works. You can't share your best projects (NDAs). There's no viral loop when your tool isn't self-serve. Success is measured in contracts, not likes.

Tailwind lays of 75% of their team. the reason is so ironic: > their css framework became extremely popular w AI coding agents, 75m downloads/mo > that meant nobody would visit their docs where they promoted paid offerings > resulting in 40% drop in traffic & 80% revenue loss

Don't think of LLMs as entities but as simulators. For example, when exploring a topic, don't ask: "What do you think about xyz"? There is no "you". Next time try: "What would be a good group of people to explore xyz? What would they say?" The LLM can channel/simulate many perspectives but it hasn't "thought about" xyz for a while and over time and formed its own opinions in the way we're used to. If you force it via the use of "you", it will give you something by adopting a personality embedding vector implied by the statistics of its finetuning data and then simulate that. It's fine to do, but there is a lot less mystique to it than I find people naively attribute to "asking an AI".

We are so fucking cooked This is "the most important chart in AI" Every ***4 months***, the length of coding tasks AIs can do (compared to humans) DOUBLES Do you get how fast that is?

Opus 4.5 puts the world roughly back on track for the red line 😬 Every ~4 months, the length of coding tasks AI agents can perform (compared to human professionals) *doubles* More context on this finding in @METR_Evals thread x.com/METR_Evals/sta…
