@fomocapdao Bullish:Bitcoin mining boom by energy companies, countries talking on adopting Bitcoin, War sanctions and free money, USD weakness(lol)
Bearish:High beta against legacy, fed QT and unwinding of assets, Terra Money losing his peg against the dollar bringing the whole market down

This is interesting.
The distance between the $SPX and the 200sma today is now the greatest it has been since January 2022. Look what happened afterwards.
And for fun, the time before that? April 2000. Look what happened afterwards.
Can mean nothing. Can mean everything...
Use it as you please. Or ignore.

Can war be bullish? Certainly. But oftentimes things go the other way.
Back in 1994, I was running a modest little options strategy tied to Peruvian anchovy fishing.
A quant in our commodities team had convinced me that an El Niño weather pattern would decimate supply, sending prices soaring.
Naturally, I went long on a few obscure South American shipping firms with exposure to anchovy exports.
It was, as I proudly told anyone who’d listen, a bet on omega-3.
Things were going swimmingly until the Cenepa War between Ecuador and Peru broke out in early 1995.
A Peruvian naval vessel got a little too frisky with an Ecuadorian patrol boat over disputed fishing waters.
Nothing major, just a few warning shots and a brief diplomatic meltdown. But the market panicked.
The Peruvian Minister of Fisheries, a man I’d bonded with over ceviche during a memorable trip to Lima, went on national television and described my investment thesis as "unhelpful foreign speculation".
Soon insurance premiums on shipping spiked and my positions tanked.
To this day, whenever Mrs. Ptardio opens a tin of anchovies, I have to lie down.

For anyone with this reasoning: Having children is quite literally the best thing ever. It is the ultimate peak life experience, offering the deepest encounter with love you will ever have.
Nothing will connect you more with the rhythm of the universe and thread that ties together the essence of human existence than this.
Tough sometimes? Eh sure, but your heart is exploding daily in ways that supersede any "exhaustion".

It’s really sad how many people without kids I meet who have heard that having a baby is absolutely gruelling, endless, exhausting work. Sure, it’s a challenge and a change of pace, but it’s nowhere near as bad as is often suggested. We’ve got to stop being so down on parenthood!
