Volume has been solid. 10+ FGA in 5/5 games this series and has covered 12+ points in 32/36 (89%) of games this season when taking 10+ FGA including 10/L10 games.
The Rockets are a bottom 15 C&S defense which is how Rui scores the bulk (48%) of his points. We’ve seen him find some solid open looks behind the arc this series while recording 2+ 3PTM in 4/5 games.
The Rockets are solid defensively but not elite anywhere really. 12th ATB3 defense - 24th non-RA paint defense - and 10th ranked mid range defense. Those spots combine for 60% of Ruis scoring. This should come down to volume and whether or not he can knock down his shots.
Overall a solid spot. Volumes been good. Minutes will be there. With Reaves back that’s another piece on offense the Rockets will have to pay attention to. Expecting Rui to find some good looks again in game six. I like the over!

Good assist upside. 2+ assists in 8/L10 games. Recorded 4 assists vs the Pacers in their most recent matchup. They allow 4.3 per game to his position so there’s real upside for him to find 3+ here again. 4+ potentials in 4/L6 games.

🚨 𝗡𝗕𝗔 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 🚨 Jeremiah Fears over 10.5 points $50 to someone who 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘𝗦/Comments! Let me know if you're tailing 🔥 Posted hours early in Discord. Analysis⬇️ Jeremiah Fears faces off against the Timberwolves, a great spot for his skillset. Minnesota style of defense favors higher usage, ball dominant players. They do not help much off shooters on the wings, this is shown by allowing the lowest frequency and fewest ppg to spot ups. Wolves also give up the 9th fewest catch & shoot made FG's, this impacts the role players or outside shooting reliant guys. That's not Fears, when he's on the court he is a primary ball handler and gets alot of usage. Minnesota notably allows the most points on the 2nd most possessions and frequency to pick & roll ball handlers this season. That's nice for Fears who 22% of his total pts as PnR handler and leads all current rotation players in possessions/game in this action on the Pelicans. While the Timberwolves are perceived as a great defense, that has not been the case lately. They are allowing 116 ppg over their last 10 which is 11th most in the NBA (118.6 ppg in the last 5, 9th most). Opponents have shot 49% on FG's and MIN also has given up the 2nd most FTA in this sample. Fears scores 16.4% of his pts at the FT line. He's also great in the open court scoring 28% of his pts in transition. MIN gives up the 7th most transition ppg. This game should be up and down, pace up spot for Pelicans as MIN is 5th in pace in their last 10 games. Fears scores 48% of his FG's in the restricted area and 53.3% of his pts in the paint. This is actually a great spot for that with Wolves in drop coverage with Rudy in, Fears can get downhill with speed. He will come off the bench which means staggered mjns without Gobert. When Rudy is off the court, MIN also has limited rim protection. Notably they allow tied for the 3rd most makes and 3rd most attempts in restricted area in last 10 games. Jordan Poole has remained out of rotation and Jose Alvarado was traded away at the deadline, this could open up more minutes for Fears. Against bottom half pick & roll ball handlers defenses and non bottom 10 pace teams with Zion, Bey, Trey all IN but Jose out, we see Fears averages 14.3 points in 23 mins. Very nice 236.5 total in this game, highest on the slate. We should expect alot of pts and even if Pelicans get blown out (8.5 pt spread), Fears has not notably played through many blowouts and closed the 4th qtr regardless. Waco Police Arrest Texas Father Over Viral Ring Doorbell Camera Footage
Paul Thames, 29, was arrested and charged after turning himself in to Waco police following the viral video.
In the footage, Thames is seen with his 3-year-old son at the Legend Apartments.
The footage was shared to the police and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He’s being held on a $200,000 bond.
