Bush signed the "Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002" (H.J. Res. 114), which provided legal authorization for military action. So while there was no official Declaration of War, there was still "legal" coverage for the administrations military engagement, its why to this day no one has been arrested for it. So before you devolve into any more ad homonym attacks and feeble strawman attempts, a little research first will help you save face.

Here let me help you out: A logical fallacy is an error in reasoning that renders an argument invalid, unsound, or weak. These flaws in logic often appear persuasive but are based on flawed structures, irrelevant points, or false assumptions. Now lets apply it to my comment: Logic = If: compromised and on payroll Logic = Then: it is likely political theater and why no actual progress has been made. The logic is sound. So my comment is, in fact, not a logical fallacy.

Common sense isn't so common anymore is it? It was not a veiled threat, so yes you are wrong. It is a few second clip that is being taken completely out of context and being intentionally used to create FEAR during a time when tensions are already high. That is not only dishonest, it is irresponsible. That's the kind of DISINFORMATION that can turn into a powder keg. It was absolutely taken out of context because you don't know what the conversation was about, it could be about launching a new line of Trump branded golden soap dispensers. Or new White House themed hand towels. But if you or anyone honestly thinks it is anything related to an operation, or military engagement, or anything as to which people are trying to imply, you are delusional, there would be no phones in that room if classified military logistics were being discussed.

The caption and the quick delete do make it feel a little odd, but I do think the government is playing a chess game we are not privy to, and that this was likely a calculated move meant to send a message we just do not fully understand yet.

Not in that environment. A reporter is not going to be given classified military logistics. Let alone BEFORE any kind of operation. That would be terrible OpSec.
