@CytoLabKoc Depends on your primary use. The Stellaris is superior for FLIM-based measurements. 980 is better for super resolution, NIR, and 2P. Both instruments "standard" confocal mode are similar. I think you can get more detectors on the Stellaris if you need to do unmixing (IMO)

I am looking into buying a confocal microscope as part of my ERC #SatelliteHomesostasis grant. I am trying to decide between Zeiss LSM980 and Leica Stellaris 8 systems. If you have used them, can you vote? Comments on strengths/weaknesses will be higly appreciated.

@mike_feigin Implement a course set or training seminar series etc on "How to manage yourself and others." Not enough scientists are trained on how to be good mentors and managers.

My sister’s journey is coming to an end. It’s been a year of hope & grief (cancer). I am grateful I can be with her, holding her hand, together with my family, during her last days. My twin & I r celebrating our birthday together today, by our sister’s side. Loving her. Always.
