OTUKPO KIDNAPPING: POLICE RESCUE ALL ABDUCTED BENUE LINKS PASSENGERS, INCLUDING STUDENTS, ARREST SUSPECTS The Nigeria Police Force has achieved a major operational breakthrough with the rescue of all victims abducted in the Otukpo kidnapping incident involving passengers of a Benue Links bus on 15 April 2026. Acting on credible intelligence, operatives of the Benue State Police Command launched coordinated clearance operations across the Amla Forest corridor and adjoining areas. These efforts led to the safe recovery of the remaining 13 victims, including eight students en route to Otukpo for their UTME examinations. In total, all 18 passengers have now been accounted for. Each rescued individual has undergone medical evaluation, is in stable condition, and will be reunited with their families after debriefing. In the course of the operation, seven suspects were arrested, three of whom have been positively identified as members of the kidnapping syndicate. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend additional accomplices and dismantle the wider criminal network behind the attack. The suspects are in custody and are being interrogated in accordance with the law. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, commended the professionalism, resilience, and gallantry displayed by the officers and men of the Benue State Command. He has directed the intensification of clearance operations within the Otukpo axis to ensure communities remain safe and secure. The IGP reassures Nigerians of the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to protecting lives and property nationwide. He affirms that ongoing operations will be sustained to strengthen security and restore public confidence, while urging citizens to support the Police with timely and credible information to enhance collective safety. The President, is building a bridge linking Benue State and Taraba State, yet people in these places are not posting about it. A lot of the projects the President is executing across Nigeria are not being highlighted by residents. Why? You don’t post what he is doing in your city or appreciate it, yet you complain that nothing is being done. Just recently, the Abuja–Kaduna highway has been trending, yet hardly anyone based there is posting about it. That’s not fair. You cannot ignore ongoing projects and then claim the President is doing nothing in your city,it’s not criticism, it’s misinformation. For example, I choose to appreciate what the President is doing in Lagos because it is visible and impactful. The road networks being developed on the island will reduce travel time, improve productivity, and make life easier for residents. When the government does something good, I will say it. Yes, there is inflation, and the government should work towards reducing the cost of living so Nigerians can thrive better. But it is still important to acknowledge the good being done. Please highlight projects in your own cities. Thank you, Mr. President, for your efforts. I know it is taxpayers’ money, but I still choose to appreciate it. Please continue to build more infrastructure. For example,Lagos needs more infrastructure, especially with the level of real estate development going on. More bridges, more road networks etc, this will make life easier for residents and future residents. Even if others don’t appreciate it, I do. THANK You sir 🎥: Nigeria man reveals an ongoing bridge contribution linking Benue State and Taraba State

This woman exposed the bread that has stayed in her shop for weeks and still looks fresh. She didn't mention any name, but the bread company that's guilty served her papers. This is something NAFDAC and government should take very seriously. Let's amplify this until the right thing is done.

President Tinubu mocked Atiku on privatization: No one among them (coalition leaders) is without history, the head (Atiku) was the chairman of the privatization council of Nigeria at one time. They privatized the steel industry in Delta, is it working today? They privatized Ajaokuta, is it working today? They privatized another man’s political party; that one says no.

@CspIniedu @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @PoliceNG @PrinceAdedigba1 Delta State Police Command and POS Operators are 5&6. This one happened at C Division Asaba where they have a Stationed POS Operators that helps them launder money from daily collection. The DPO and all his men are aware of this evil trend. The Police PRO image maker Bright wey nor Bright should come forward and tell Nigerians why Delta State Police Command should have POS operators working daily in almost all the police station in Delta State. For the Inspector General of Police @TunjiDisu1 to win the fight against Extortion and arbitrary arrest, he should start from Delta State because the so called Image maker covers their atrocities. African Export-Import Bank - Afreximbank
Nigeria is the largest crude oil producer on the continent, yet it has long depended on imported refined fuel. For years, fuel had to be brought in from abroad, leaving the country exposed to rising costs and long queues at stations. Aliko Dangote built one of the world’s largest single train refineries to change that. With close to $10 billion deployed by Afreximbank, the refinery is now exceeding Nigeria’s domestic fuel needs. Queues are clearing and prices are beginning to adjust. Watch the full episode, Dangote. Colossal Transformation on YouTube. — FR — Le Nigeria est le plus grand producteur de pétrole brut du continent, mais a longtemps dépendu des importations de carburant raffiné. NIGERIA POLICE FORCE RECORDS MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH, ARRESTS 50 SUSPECTS, RECOVERS HIGH-GRADE WEAPONS IN NATIONWIDE CRACKDOWN. In a press briefing held on April 13, 2026, at the FID-IRT headquarters, Abuja, the Nigeria Police Force announced a significant breakthrough in its ongoing campaign against high-profile criminality, resulting in the arrest of fifty (50) suspects linked to terrorism, kidnapping, and armed robbery. At the press briefing, the Force highlighted a substantial cache of recovered arms, including an anti-aircraft launcher and seventeen (17) rifles. The recent operations, conducted by the Force Intelligence Department-Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT), represent a strategic offensive against syndicates that have long threatened the peace of the nation. From January 2026 to date, operatives have successfully dismantled various clandestine cells, recovering: 1. Seventeen (17) rifles of various models 1.One (1) Anti-Aircraft Launcher, 2.One-hundred and eleven (111) rounds of live ammunition 3.Seventeen (17) live cartridges 4.Five (5) Walkie-Talkie Communication devices used by suspects to coordinate their criminal activities 5.Nine (9) magazines 6.Three (3) mobile phones 7.One (1) Golf vehicle Among the most notable successes is the dismantling of thirty-three (33) member gang responsible for acts of terrorism, cattle rustling, and the violent attack on the Christ Apostolic Church in Kwara State. The Force also secured justice for its own, apprehending the kingpins responsible for the recent murder of three police officers attached to Donga Divisional Headquarters, in Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State. Furthermore, the Nigeria Police Force has made significant strides in securing the Federal Capital Territory and surrounding states by arresting specialized units involved in "one-chance" abductions, car burglaries, and the operation of fake police checkpoints. These arrests have not only removed dangerous individuals from the streets but have also led to the recovery of stolen property and operational assets used to terrorize unsuspecting citizens. In the same vein, operatives of the FID-IRT, acting on credible intelligence, arrested one Nasiru Ibrahim aged 25 years with one (1) AK-47 rifle, one (1) AK-47 rifle magazine and eight (8) rounds of live ammunition. Preliminary investigation uncovered that the suspect, revealed to operate within Igumale area of Benue state, is linked to a notorious bandit identified as Janari who had allegedly sold the AK-47 rifle to him. Efforts are however underway to apprehend Janari and other members of the syndicate with additional weaponry. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to a more secured Nigeria, noting that these achievements serve as a testament to the relentless efforts of the Nigeria Police in the pursuit of justice. Several main suspects are ready for prosecution in courts of competent jurisdiction and the Force is actively pursuing other accomplices and more illegal weapons. The Nigeria Police Force remains steadfast in its mission to uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of every citizen, utilizing both human and technical intelligence to stay ahead of criminal elements. Until Nigeria start jailing the people that stole public funds, Nigeria will never be a better country. Nothing like you stole 30bn and returned 5bn, No! You return 30bn stolen, pay a fine and go to jail… we keep getting criminals as leaders that can not hold anyone accountable because they are stealing too. Someone will boldly come and say that snake swallowed millions of naira and might still get away with it. Until we start jailing the people in government that are stealing public funds, Nigeria will never be better.
