This woman called this contractor to do some work, after he presented her with a quote, she agreed to the price and moved forward. The contractor is now almost done and is asking for his money. She’s refusing to pay now, claiming it’s because he isn’t licensed and insured, which she already knew before she agreed to let him do it. Do you think she waited till he was almost done to spring that on him knowing his recourses are limited?
