@christiangori96 On it. AI has enabled solo founders by adding to their skillset in both hard technical and soft skills. I think a missing benefit of AI is that it gives you another person to collabirate with and ideate on various topics.

2026 is the year of solo-founders, mark my word

What tech opinion will put you in this situation?

@konnydev Mistral AI is all. Others are talking about europes regulations blocking development. Our lack of capital investment is probably a bigger blocker. Our "rich" class are super risk averse compared to the US and prefer investing in land/property than something productive like AI

America has Claude China has DeepSeek Europe has … ?

@1Umairshaikh Making people pay for sure. It rquires all the other three elements: - Solid code - Excellent Design (and USP) -Getting users (Marketing) Then grtting people to pay. You basically just defined a funnel!

We're about to have basically infinite apps hit the market. ... That all have one user (the founder).

@christiangori96 A lack of skills alignment between the startup and its members. I see too many startups which can deliver on the tech but not the sales. I see even more startups able to deliver on the marketing but not the tech. Its about striking a balance.

What actually kills most startups?

@NaivaidyaY66600 Always simplicity. If it can solve a real pain point in a very simple and user friendly manner, you have a winner on your hands.

What im seeing in industry is that there are broadly three types of engineers: 1. Those who adopt AI and have huge success 2. Those who adopt AI and cannot leverage it correctly 3. Those who refuse to engage with it I actually think 2 is more dangerous than 3. What about you?

As a reply guy, how many replies do you do daily? - 50+ - 100+ - 150+ I do 100+ daily.

@aryanlabde They're a huge success, in terms of learning. Huge failuire (usually) in terms of execution. My first Saas had 40 total paying users before I shut it down. Took me 5 months to reach that.

Launching your first SaaS is weird. You spend a month building it and get 5 users 0 conversions 0 feedbacks I wonder why
