@michaelgbaron Mendoza already said Vientos is on the team. Met fans don’t wanna hear it but they gonna send Benge down to start the season. They gonna with a bench of Taylor, Torrens, Vientos and Mauricio.

Mike Tauchman remains in play for a spot on the roster. He reportedly has an opt out on March 25. Carson Benge is also still here. So does the squeeze come down to Tauchman/Benge/Taylor, or perhaps Mark Vientos, who is out of options?

Jets turning down the 109th overall pick, and then only getting a 1-year franchise tag with Breece Hall on a team with no expectations this year doesn't make team-building sense at all. They have until July to work out an extension. We'll see!
