One of Pump fun’s core design principles is simplicity. Pump fun initially set out to reduce all the needless complexity associated with launching and trading tokens onchain. Why? Reducing information asymmetries between market participants and lowering barriers to entry makes the game fairer and allows the market as a whole to grow. As a result of this philosophy, we were able to grow the entire ecosystem by orders of magnitude. This is why we’ve historically been very careful to make changes that make the user experience for the average retail user more complex. In other words, there needs to be overwhelming evidence that such changes will have significant positive effects. A few weeks ago, I laid out some of our thoughts on our ecosystem’s largest change of 2025: the introduction of creator fees. x.com/a1lon9/status/… Today, we’re making the biggest change as part of this roadmap. We’re highly confident this change will materially improve the incentives between the different kinds of users in our ecosystem, and ultimately lead to a more healthy and sustainable market. Furthermore, this update represents an acknowledgement that there are two different kinds of tokens in our ecosystem: community tokens and project tokens. They require different design considerations, incentives, and marketing. Accordingly, expect future updates to be more narrowly focused on either one of these use cases. Like always, we will let this major update run its course through multiple market cycles to collect sufficient data so we can continue iterating in the right direction. Manchester United's summer needs to be crazy, there is plenty to address. Champions League qualification is essential for making it all happen. Two CMs - which won't come cheap - a LW, a CB, a RB, potentially a ST. When European football is back next season, this squad won't have the same margin for error with injuries & it barely has them now. The squad has quality, but it does not have quality in depth. Even considering the club's cash flow issues, they will have more than enough from sales & CL revenue to fund the biggest summer yet. They'll need to as well.

First half of some big career news: As of today, I have left @jito_labs / @jito_sol. Very bittersweet for me as this has been my favourite career stop so far; a great intersection of opportunity, people and tech. I will carry fond memories of working on the Block Engine, Jito Validator Clients and of course; BAM. Thanks to @buffalu__ and @segfaultdoctor for the chance to learn and build alongside them. I trust the team to continue delivering the promise of mature blockspace and market structure on Solana (amongst other things). Jito is a unique place and I hope to take some of that Jito spirit with me where I go next. Now as to why I chose to leave. An opportunity came my way that I could not pass up; a chance to push myself more and play a bigger role in the ecosystem; I’m curious what Im capable of.
