Stop releasing profession ships without their actual profession loop in the game. Exhibit A: The RSI Apollo dropped flyable several patches ago. We have rescue beacons and MedGel, sure — but where are the dedicated medical missions and contracts that make the Apollo viable as a PROFESSION ship? Imagine buying a Prospector before mining had a proper loop. That’s where Apollo owners are. #StarCitizen #spacegames #gaming

What ship-related hot take do you have that would spark this kind of reaction? 📸 EricTheFourier via Spectrum Community Hub

anyone know if its any good? Like how steep is the learning curve, how long does it take to get to the ship building? Coming from StarCitizen and Starfield I need some more variety ^^ #NoMansSky

Calling for a truce between Destiny 🤝🏼 Marathon At this rate, we’re building towards a mutual shared destruction where nobody wins. As someone that LOVES Marathon and Destiny, I’m not asking D2 players to even try the game…but dunking on each other gets us nowhere. Peoples thoughts are heavily influenced by others online, so when they see something negative it influences them to not even give the game a chance, when they otherwise might. On the flip side, nobody from Marathon should be cheering for Destiny “sunsetting.” Unhinged behavior, truly. If we want either game to flourish, we need to change the current trajectory. Our best chance at Destiny 3 will be determined by Marathon’s success, and better sentiment (which I totally understand Bungie needs to help with in this effort as well.) At the end of the day, we’re all gamers that want to have fun playing our favorite games with our friends. This approach helps ensure we get the chance to do that for many years to come. Much love. - A Spartan/Guardian/Runner

This is the echo chamber crap we see with Star Citizen. People truly think there is no game.

Yall remember when @Sony took Spider-Man out of the MCU and the fanbase WENT CRAZY and they had to put him back? We need that same energy rn. For Destiny. It’s what Cayde would’ve wanted. #WeWantDestiny3

Never been much of a petition guy but It also costs nothing to take 30 seconds to sign a doc and have a tiny drop of faith. Here's hoping. Nearly 210k signed as of like 2 hours ago. Link in comments so it's not a suppressed tweet.

People don’t wanna give Star Citizen a chance because it doesn’t hold your hand. Requires you to accept that there will be [many] bugs. Forces you to be uncomfortable with the idea of spending HOURS just to learn basic gameplay. Oh and the ignorance of thinking you have to spend $1000s to play. The game is $45. No sub. That gets you a ship capable of doing everything you need to earn credits in game to buy the $600 ships featured in headlines fed to you by misinformed outlets. I’ve yet to see a real game reporter or reviewer actually do their due diligence and cover it well or appropriately. It’s disrespectful. The community is so willing to provide a guided tour yet they’ve never asked. That ignorance gets in the way of doing actual research providing real information to readers and viewers. You wanna see Star Citizen, maybe reach out to one of the many talented creators/communities who know a thing or two before writing that “hot” headline about the next $5000 ship in a game “not released yet” to get your quarterly numbers up. Half the games coming out today are marked as early access and take years to finish. Star Citizen happens to be on the cheapest which I know I know doesn’t fit the “narrative”. Subnautica is an excellent example of this. It took them years to “finish” the first one. And you’d be crazy to think it won’t take years for the second one. Yet look how incredible the current build is. It’s hypocritical. The poor reporting for SC is plain unjustified and led by one sided outlets too scared to get uncomfortable about video games because it would step on their ego. Better at sticking to games that are 98% cutscenes and play for you. Do better.

You guys realize Star Citizen has taken so long because it’s not built on some other company’s engine. CIG are building a first of its kind game engine ALONGSIDE an actual playable game with weekly/monthly/yearly content. Star Citizen is just the playable and testable version of Star Engine. Just like Fortnite is the playable testable version of Unreal Engine. But y’all ain’t ready to have that conversation yet. That $5000 “ship” isn’t for you. It’s for a different class of supporter. The same kind of person who donates thousands of dollars to a cause they believe in and in return gets a brick with their name on it. Or a plaque for their wall. At that level- you’re not buying a ship, you’re buying into status. You’re buying recognition within the community. And that matters to some people. But you don’t need it to enjoy what’s already there. And I know a majority of the community would back me up on that one.

4 Odins in 1 Org Sol Provision just acquired our 4th Odin, and we plan to snag a 5th; 1 for each System when 1.0 launches. Happy for the Sol Provision Org, but not surprised on the "exclusivity" of this ship. There will be hundreds in a single Shard. #StarCitizen #Squadron42

Too many jealous developers and reporters can’t seem to accept that a single game company raised $1 billion entirely from player funding. Love it or hate it, they just made gaming history. 🤪 #StarCitizen

Cayde's final message to us feels like he is speaking on behalf of destiny. It feels like whoever wrote those voice lines knew deep down that the end might be near. We didnt know it at the time but we were listening to the start of destiny saying goodbye. Breaks my heart.
