Got a season ticket holder buddy that got his info tonight. His seats in the 300 level are going up a total of $200 for next season. Not awful but charging your most loyal fans an extra penny after potentially not hitting double digit home wins is gross.

Other than the owner not wanting to pay another coach, is there a single reason why he'd be back? This season has been an outright disaster, and coaching has played its part. If Canucks are a serious organization, must get a bonafide coach for next year.

The most Canucks result possible is this: -Canucks drop from 1st to 3rd in the lottery -McKenna and Stenberg drafted 1st and 2nd, become stars -Canucks reach for a centre instead of taking Verhoeff with 3rd pick -Centre has an ok career as a 3C. Verhoeff becomes a Hall of Famer for someone else.

@jabo_vancouver The Norris season was his “great” year. The rest were good individual seasons. He is a great player who was not able to take the team he captained past the second round while THE TEAM HE CAPTAINED disintegrated on his watch. Get off your knees dude.

@JaySwing One great year? Give your head a shake. I'm not sold that he deserves a jersey retirement, but I will give respect when it's due. There's a reason it took 50+ years for a defenseman of his caliber to wear a Canucks jersey. They don't come around often.

My one cent on a Quinn Hughes jersey retirement. I can remember a lot of bitterness between #Canucks fans and Pavel Bure when he left. Time does heal some wounds and the greatness of that player is remembered more fondly than the negatives. Let's see where we are in 15 years.

@JaySwing @jabo_vancouver Hughes has multiple great seasons personally but the team had one good season while he was here. For a proper analysis you need to separate these two aspects.
