@MattByer33 Just a lot of time left. Given the lead, you would think the offensive play calling would be more conservative. Probability of a 3 and out is likely higher than recovering the kick.

@Jay_Dub25 You can't assume a 3 and out when Oregon was averaging 9+ yards a play - we couldn't stop them. Chip made the right move in my opinion

With 3 timeouts, UCLA should’ve kicked it deep and play for field position. Assuming a 3 and out, they can have the ball in decent field position. Onside doesn’t make sense considering the time on the clock regardless of the deficit.
