It’s been 50 years since this photo was taken. Palestinian terrorists invaded the Lebanese Christian town of Damour and massacred 582 Christian civilians. It was an apocalypse, said a priest who survived the massacre. “They were coming in thousands, shouting ‘Allahu Akbar! Let us attack them for the Arabs, let us offer a holocaust to Mohammad.’ They were slaughtering everyone, men, women and children.” Men were lined up against the walls of their homes and gunned down. Women were tortured and gang-raped. Babies were shot in the back of the head. Pregnant women had their babies cut out of the womb. Just one of the many massacres committed against Christians by Palestinians. This is how Muslims became the majority in Lebanon.

It’s important for you to know that the California Democratic Party endorsed a candidate in this race and it was Scott Wiener not Chan. I’d reference the Will Rogers quote, ‘I’m not a member of any organized political party, I’m a Democrat’. I doubt the Pelosi endorsement sways many folks or comes with a bundle of $$

During the Iranian Revolution, leftist students, communists, and Muslims were all united in overthrowing the Shah. The leftists celebrated when Khomeini returned in 1979. They thought they defeated capitalism and imperialism. It didn’t last long. Around 30,000 leftists who helped the Islamic regime consolidate power were soon executed. That’s where the term “useful idiot” originated. They served their purpose and were no longer needed. Muslims had always despised their progressive ideals and couldn’t wait to get rid of them. One of the women celebrating in the picture was killed, the other fled the country for her life. It’s bizarre that almost 50 years later, Western leftists are making the exact same mistake. If they get what they want, they will have the same ending.

Reminder that the Iranian Revolution started as a student-led leftist Marxist movement to overthrow the Shah. Then Muslims joined in, presenting themselves as ‘anti-imperialists’ too. Once the Islamic regime took power, those same leftist students and their progressive ideals were the first to be killed. Leftist students in American and Western universities are literally making the same mistake right now. They never learned the lesson.

Are Chinese people in Britain chased down the street for what Beijing does to Uighurs? Are Russians here hunted for Ukraine? Are Afghans attacked over how women are treated back home? No. But Jews are singled out, blamed, and targeted for Israel. The hypocrisy isn’t even subtle.

Here is Gaza. Destroyed by Israel. According to antisemites, this destruction explains or justifies attacks on random Jewish people in the UK. Except it's not Gaza. I lied. It's actually Homs, in Syria. Destroyed by Assad. Nobody ever attacked random Syrians over this.

“Qatargate is the biggest corruption scandal in the European Parliament's history.” Thank you @visegrad24 for this astounding piece of journalism exposing the dark corruption of the EU and other institutions through Qatari money. This is honestly remarkable work. I can’t praise it enough

@RobertGarcia @JulianAndreone Actually it’s been a good thing for California and most likely widely supported. Why empower the most extreme wings of both parties? Just because of this year’s Gov primary? That’s a poor response to one off event.

@JulianAndreone Disagree with that. This primary system was a conservative proposal to “moderate” our state. A primary system is much more fair. I would also support moving towards RCV - but we will have a ways to go to build support statewide. See you back on the hill! 👍🏽

If the Democratic establishment has any hope of holding on to the party, it should end American financial support for Israel—and if it doesn’t, the party will be overrun by a wing with far more radical beliefs, @jonathanchait argues. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…

In 2028, Californians should get rid of the jungle primary. It has not worked out as intended, and it’s time to get back to real primaries.
