THAT is what the Mountaineers CAN be. The loss sucks, but WVU was the far less talented team, with about nothing left to fight for, and still made TCU sweat it out to the end. You give Scotty a line he can operate behind, Jahiem gets back into the lineup, and you find a few more impact transfers, WVU will be competing for a Big 12 title as early as next season. A loss is a loss, but that was a hell of a game. Proud of the boys for sticking in it until the end.

@HoppyKercheval The tier for WVU sports is upside down. The most successful teams have the smallest budges (men's soccer, women's soccer, rifle). The two high profile programs (football & men's basketball) not so much. Women's basketball and baseball probably the most bang for the buck.

So...140 new scholarships at a time when WVU Athletics is trying to raise $20.5 million in rev share brings the big question--how is WVU paying for this?

@HoppyKercheval They added $150 NIL charge to my son’s tuition this Fall semester. So that better not increase! He’s an instate with 3 scholarships and still owes $7/semester. Ridiculous to add NIL fees to tuition.

I’m not a political person but I am a proud American citizen and today was startling, saddening, and maddening all at the same time.. I’ve realized that I’m a bit naive to how crazy it all has become but watching a man get hunted and slayed in broad daylight because of his opinions made me disgusted and devastated. This can’t be what we actually are or become as a country.. I believe that the good people will always outnumber the evil people but damn… today was an alarming day in our country’s history. 2 kids lost a dad.. a wife lost a husband.. and societal discourse lost a voice. RIP @charliekirk11.. I send my prayers, thoughts, and love to his family and friends.
