@JayceLong Yes. Allowing my mind to continue "slouching towards Bethlehem/to be born" at its own time and pace was so important and helpful to me in my analysis. It's also made me profoundly allergic to the idea that I'm supposed to treat my own patients in 12 sessions or fewer.
