Jayce DeGeorgia

My freshman and sophomore year I had the privilege of playing for one of the best basketball coaches and programs in the state where I learned so much and am forever grateful for my time as a tiger. This year I transferred to go to a more competitive football class to put myself more out there to coaches. I decided to try a new offseason sport. It was a major change but I learned a lot this season and faced a lot of adversity with trying to learn a new sport but thanks to the amazing people in my corner and in the wrestling room I learned a lot and had a amazing time. Everyday took a lot out of me physically and mentally but I still found the time to attack the weight room every night after practice and gained a 35lb PR in my bench and a 50lb PR in my squat during the short season. I’m extremely exited to pull everything together for my senior year and have my best year yet. Every year I’ve noticed my growth as a player and as a person and in my faith. I’m grateful for where God has brought me and the opportunity’s he has given me and I’m excited for the future wherever it may be.
