After watching night 1 of the DNC Convention, I find it harder to really feel proud to be an American. Our country has been so cheapened and downgraded to a point where I don’t even feel a sense of honor or pride for where I live. The country has really just devolved into an empty vessel of itself. We won’t have anything to actually be proud of or to preserve if the Democrats get their way this November and implement their communist agenda.

If you know me, you know I’m a big crier, so I’m standing here waiting to board my flight to Chicago for this historic DNC, where I’m pretty sure I’m about to meet @MarkHamill at the @sexyliberaltour, and he is this incredible human connection to my dad who loved him so very much, and my dad is the reason I love politics so much, and I’m trying to digest the fact that I just hit a million followers on this app. All because I simply had something to say. Well, I had and have, a LOT to say. And it’s really, really hard not to cry like a baby in front of all these people who would undoubtedly wonder what was wrong with me. They might be wondering anyway let’s be real. If you knew all the ways a social media platform has changed me, and changed my life for the better… well, let’s just say, it’s changed everything. For me, and for my kids. Thanks for being here. Thanks for caring about this little experiment of ours. Thanks for letting me vent. Thanks for having my back. Thanks for making me laugh.
