Whenever I visited my ex, he would give me money to go get foodstuffs alone, I would cook, clean, and serve while he played game. And whenever I complain of him not assisting me, he would say he has played his part by providing money. The rest are my duties. So I waited till it was his time to visit me, I made sure there was no food at my house. Just water. He asked what I cooked, and I requested money so I could go get foodstuffs. He told me I was the host, and I ought to be the one to provide the food. Immediately, I opened my purse and gave him cash to go buy foodstuffs he would cook for us since that was how he treated me too. He was confused. He thought it was a joke. I stood my ground. That night, we both slept hungry. He went back the following day and never called me again, till date.

@ms___dale In 2014, dad lost his job & couldn't find new one. Yrs passed, he cldn't cover home bills. Mom stepped up, handled home & bills via her small biz. She never disrespected him & still doesn't. He supports her however he can. We kids are now grown adults & taking care of bills.
