Recently came across a patient diagnosed with TLK2 syndrome. Researching this to ensure I can best support any health issues that may be associated with it, although as of 2020 only 40 people in the world diagnosed,and limited research out there. Any help/guidance appreciated...

Today is #WorldDiabetesDay The learning disability population are twice as likely to live with diabetes compared to the general population. RNLD have an invaluable role in ensuring reasonable adjustments are made to assessment, treatment, management & education around diabetes

I just love seeing student nurses that I met/ mentored along their training get their blues!💙 I feel so proud for use (and old!😄) It's a difficult journey but so rewarding, &the career opportunities in NI for RNLD are always improving & expanding. Hang in there, we need use!
