Since I last tweeted I moved to a whole new country, started a new job and started working on a new project. Life is busy, but good right now.

She also has contacts in the industry I'm interested in, and has offered to put me in touch with them. And this all came about because I memorised her order, and we got talking a few months ago. Being kind to customers truly does pay off.

It's funny how easy it is to build a network of interesting and useful people, completely unintentionally. One of my lovely regular customers at work has informed me that she used to work as a recruitment officer and is more than happy to help me workshop my CV.

Managing to find time in my 75 hr work week for self care. (I'm getting my half sleeve finished!)

Applying for jobs for when I'm moving is so unnecessarily stressful. Can I just hand you a note that says 'please' and be done with it?

I have updated my LinkedIn profile, in the middle of giving my CV a makeover and I've also recently asked @JazWrites_ to help me build and design my website (blog/portfolio). Time for a fresh start!

I'm currently building a website for someone and I'm so excited for the final look but also... What if they don't like it???

I have so many ideas. It is 2233 and I have so much going on in my brain

30 hours over two days, done. Extremely tired, and I know Monday is going to be a full day of me recovering but at least it's done and out of the way. Now to drink as much coffee as possible so I can function still

I did a 15 hour work day yesterday, finishing at midnight and suddenly got inspiration as I was climbing into bed. 100% knew I had a long day head today. So naturally I stayed up for another two hours to write. On an unrelated note, how much coffee is too much coffee??

I'm trying to get used to writing to tighter deadlines but it's so so difficult with a full time job. I really need to find both the self-discipline and motivation to write more regularly

@_sophiaiisabel haha, no worries! I use discord when gaming or communicating with big groups and it took me so long to figure it out at first (but I just pretended to know what I was doing and looked like a fool, so it really didn't work out for me)

First draft is done! Re-read in progress and ready to submit, and it only took a day. Could it have been a tighter turn around? Yes. But my godson demanded attention and I'm too nice to refuse

@_sophiaiisabel Discord can be super confusing, especially if you're the admin of a server. But once you get used to it it's not that bad (it's just the getting used to it that can take a while) pocket-lint.com/apps/news/1515… This is probably the best guide I've found so far!

@MaineDogPillow I'm so happy to be writing again that it's difficult to hold back the flow of ideas. My notes page is 450 words long and it's mostly fragmented sentences. Tonight is going to be a coffee fuelled nightmare, but I'm so glad to be writing that I'm willing to suffer!

Super excited to be working on an article right now. 500 words into the first draft, pretty certain it's going to hit 1.5k and need a lot of cutting down if I'm not careful. I've been so exhausted from work that I've spent a lot less time writing. I'm glad my brain still works.

Working 60 hours a week is painful and I cannot wait to sleep.
