Jaz Alwin 2028 G had a very nice state tournament for the Wisconsin Dells. Back to Back 20 point games. She's a very good wing. Can catch her with 2028 UAA this Spring. @JazlynAlwin

Game 2: Kettle Moraine Lutheran and Wisconsin Dells stayed within 4 points of each other the entire 1st half with numerous ties and lead changes. Wisconsin Dells took a 40-37 edge into intermission. WD scored first in the 2nd half to push the margin to 5 and the lead stayed between 3 and 9 the rest of the way. KML cut a 9-pt deficit down to 75-71 at 0:46.2 with a pair of FTs and a Brooklyn Luehring 3, but could not get any closer. Wisconsin Dells remains unbeaten and moves on to the Division 3 championship game to face fellow unbeaten Oostburg. Soph Jaz Alwin (pictured, #0) and sr Ashiya Hopkins combined for 29 1st half points to get Wisconsin Dells' offense rolling, while sr Sioux Falls signee Natalie Backhaus (pictured, #13) scored 18 in the 2nd half to help keep KML at bay. Backhaus showed her versatility in posting a well-rounded stat line of 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 blocked shots. Alwin and Hopkins were right behind with 20 and 15 points, respectively, while combining for 13 rebounds. Sr Josie Griffin hit a trio of 3s in adding 11 points and 5 rebounds, while fr Aja Gall scored all 8 of her points in the 2nd half. Kettle Moraine Lutheran had balanced scoring with 6 players with at least 8 points. Soph Brooklyn Luehring (pictured, #3) hit a pair of 3s and scored smoothly off the dribble as she scored a team-high 20 points to go with a game-high 4 steals. 6' soph Mya Mayer (pictured, #25) scored in a variety of ways inside as she recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jr Hayden Lauer, sr Elizabeth Ehlke, jr Emma Wagner, and sr Natalie Nolte all scored 8 points. Lauer also had a game-high 7 assists. .
