You rip that away and you risk breaking something that clearly isn’t broken. Maybe he’s not the guy long-term, fine. Then you assess that properly after a full season. Not in the middle of progress. Not when there’s clear momentum. Give him a window. Give him his players. Then judge him properly. We’ve seen this cycle before. Rinse and repeat for the next “project” like Erik ten Hag or Rúben Amorim just to end up resorting to alternative solutions. At some point, you have to trust what’s actually working and giving you results. Stick with Carrick.
