Zimbabwean Philanthropist Dies in Tragic UK Road Accident Sithandazile "Stha" Sipepa, a Zimbabwean philanthropist based in the United Kingdom, has died following a tragic road accident. The fatal collision occurred at around 11:00 PM on Saturday, 11 July 2026, on the M62 motorway between Junctions 21 and 22 in Rochdale. Stha was driving a grey Nissan Juke that collided head-on with a grey BMW X5. Reports indicate that the Nissan Juke was travelling in the wrong direction on the eastbound carriageway. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passengers in the BMW X5 suffered minor injuries and received medical treatment. Stha was a hardworking and compassionate Zimbabwean woman who dedicated her life to helping others. She was widely respected for her philanthropic work in both the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe, where she supported numerous charitable initiatives and positively impacted many lives through her generosity, kindness, and commitment to uplifting communities.
