The strategy of the @RCPhysicians as regards any issues around Physician Assistants has been fascinating since mid 2025 Having shrug PAs off - there has been a bit of 'Pontius Pilate' about it all. Take for example the 'Interim guidance around PA scope'. Done Dec 2024- after much heated debate Jan 2026- 6-7 months post @lengreview - no updates, no communication, no...nothing. It's as if PA issues didn't exist. And leaving the door open for the system to do what it wants. And living in hope that this issue fizzles away amidst the recently discovered love for Resident Doctors (which won't be reflected-I predict- in the upcoming Workforce Plan) The same organisation who encouraged it all by granting false equivalence- and leading PAs up a garden path. As the saying goes? "Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose"
