I’ve fallen in love with this guy. The most clearly outstanding player in a position we’ve had in the 30+ years I’ve supported Cov. But we don’t have the resources to spend more than £20m on a keeper when we could probably find a very good alternative for half that price #pusb

Brighton have rejected an offer from Coventry City for goalkeeper Carl Rushworth. The bid does not meet Brighton’s valuation of the 24-year-old. The goalkeeper has a year left on his contract, with Brighton holding an option for a further year. £20m is an obviously fair valuation for him. If it’s the case of altering add-ons/ paying a little more as guaranteed, bid again. If they’re asking for ~£25m+, walk away. Far too big a portion of our budget #pusb
