Where do people who rarely use Social media find new music nowadays? Im thinking guitar and 'indie' artists not your titktok spaff. Are they solely reliant on what Spotify directs them too? Word of mouth? Do they bother looking for it? I miss the NME and music tv shows☹️

I know it's convenient but streaming music is rubbish. The excitement of deciding which album to buy, then falling in love with that album, has pretty much disappeared, and our rock stars barely have enough money to survive let alone drive cars into swimming pools.

ADHD-ers usually have an interest-based nervous system. Meaning that a task needs either novelty, urgency, competition or interest for them to be motivated or focused. Learning this and adapting boring, everyday tasks to fit into one of these categories can be life-changing.

It feels like there’s a fair few bands/ bloggers/ internet radio show/ podcasters etc all on the edge of giving up due to what seems like a ‘lack of interest’ so here’s a plea - please don’t. We felt the same. The people who need to find you might be just around the corner and most importantly - if you love doing it - keep doing it.
