You are correct! 😅 Though I thought that was the implication of Option A - Yes. As in: ‘Yes, I have regretted doing it’. To your point, there is no bad POT, only badly done ones! 😂

IC’s the bifurcation experts recommend a POT, after placing a Stent covering the Ostium of a large side branch even if it looks angiographically great and you have used well sized stent, now my question is , did a POT ever hurt your procedure, did u ever wish you hadn’t done it?

@jdinaus @Hragy I wanted to pick both! Here is why: 👉🏼 POT is necessary because bifurcation geometry demands it. The prox MB is almost always larger than the distal MB. 👉🏼 When can it backfire? If the POT balloon is too distal, it can shift the carina toward the SB ostium. So care is needed!
