CALL TO ACTIVISM

🚨BREAKING! TRUMP'S SELF CREATED MESS EXPLODING! "This bargain no longer works." Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's major address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, is causing SHOCKWAVES worldwide. "Friends, it is time for companies and countries to take their signs down." Carney called on the world’s middle powers to band together to resist coercion from aggressive superpowers and create new alliances because the U.S. rules-based international order has effectively ended. "Let me be direct: We are in the midst of a rupture, not a transition."

Sir John Major is of course entirely right
Antonello Guerrera@antoguerrera

Extraordinary words by Sir John Major on #Brexit at LSE last night: 🧵 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 1. “In an act of collective folly, the United Kingdom voted to lead to European Union across the world, our enemies celebrated and our friends despair.” “We left Europe on a minority vote of 37% of the election after a referendum campaign that was packed with misinformation and misjudgment, it left our country poorer, weaker and divorced from the richest free trade market that history has ever seen. National interest was brushed aside by false hopes and promises”. “False hopes and promises that even a cabinet dominated by front line Brexit enthusiasts was unable to deliver the promises they made, […] while the forecast damage of leaving the European Union has become only too apparent. The nation saw Project Fear become Project Reality very easily. It's no consolation that the majority of the public now overwhelmingly recognizes that it was mislead in their moments of triumph.” “Brexiteers predicted other countries would follow their lead and leave the European Union. None have. All saw only too clearly that Brexit was packed with disadvantages, as we meet far from others leaving the European Union, as we meet nine further nations now wish to join the European Union, which is an apt comment on how the world saw Britain's decision.” “United Kingdom once reveled, not long ago, within the memory of everyone present in this room, once reveled in being a leading member of the European Union with half a billion citizens and the undoubted first ally of the United States, the world's most eminent superpower. Today, we know we are neither, and so does the world”.

These are just some of the young people who were brutally murdered or taken hostage by Hamas terrorists at the Nova music festival on #October7th. Never forget who started this war.

This horrible woman cut down all of the yellow ribbons that had just been put up in Muswell Hill, London today for the kidnapped Israeli hostages still being held on the two-year anniversary of Oct 7. If any Brits can identify her, please let @mirandalevycopy know.

Where is this "Palestinian state"? Starmer can’t say. Where are its borders? He can’t say. Does it include all the “West Bank”, the disputed territories of Judea and Samaria? He can’t say. Does it include the hundreds of thousands of Jewish inhabitants of those territories? He can’t say. Who is the leader of its government? He can’t say. Today’s recognition is of …what, precisely? An aspiration? A process? An idea dreamed up in the bath? Frankly, this clown-show makes Neville Chamberlain look like a titan of far-sighted statesmanship. America gave Shamsud Din Jabbar everything, and he repaid it with the New Orleans terrorist attack. That’s what Islamists do. We warn, you ignore. We banned the Muslim Brotherhood; you refuse. You even trust them in your armies. We don’t. We put them in prison or hospitals; you put them on the street. We told you: they start by burning Israel’s flags and end by burning your homes. Now you want to trust Joulani, the Al-Qaeda butcher in Syria? He’s killed Americans, Syrians, supported ISIS. You say he’s changed, he’s saying the right things now, and he wears a suit and tie. And I say, so did Shamsud Din Jabbar. God bless America. Our hearts are with the people of #NewOrleans.

The Jews are a nation of great morals, a school of respect. Yahya Sinwar killed their children and raped their women, and on the day of his demise, they did not drag his body as some did with Gaddafi. They did not cut off his head as Hamas did with the Israelis. They did not stomp on his corpse with their feet as some Iraqis did with Saddam, nor did they spit on his body despite the utter vileness of this being. Instead, they placed the body in a black bag and transported it with full respect. This is the difference between barbarism and civilization, the difference between the children of darkness and the children of light. It is the difference between those who respect both the living and the dead, and those who respect neither. This is the distinction between the morals of the brave, victorious knight and the cowardly fugitive whose end came without a single companion, like a rotten, perished rat. #YahyaSinvar #Israel

Starmer’s decision to scrap winter fuel payments is one of the most dishonest acts in modern British politics. And with Labour’s fantasy energy policy, the damage is only just beginning.
