Rockstar have just under two weeks to sort this out. Hopefully we have GTA 6 Trailer 3 before the 27th of May.

They’ll wait till the last minute to delay because they’ll be forced to say something then drop something after to save face with the investors and fans but I think fans shouldn’t fall for ts again

I see a lot of mixed opinions on this. Do you think GTA 6 Trailer 3 is part of the marketing Strauss was referring to? Or do you think he meant specific paid marketing? Some people think the trailer won’t happen until June or July because of the “Summer” Statement… Others think the trailer will come before. Which side are you on?

Another day without a GTA 6 Trailer 3. But another day closer to the release of the game. I know a lot of people were looking at today and it is disappointing, but we just keep going. This cycle has to end eventually.

Rockstar Games have posted today’s RDRO update on bilibili. For today, I think we are cooked. Who even knows at this stage when we’ll get trailer 3.

So many “insiders” this week pushing fake GTA VI, Trailer 3, and pre‑order claims. People really know how to exploit the hype. Even if this week doesn’t deliver anything, at least we’ll know which accounts to mute going forward. But honestly, we should keep expectations grounded. The timing makes sense due to Rockstar’s previous patterns and the Take‑Two call, but nothing is confirmed. Still, the hopium comeback has been fun to watch. Let’s hope Rockstar are gearing up to collect our cash with pre-orders soon.

I really hope Rockstar delivers something positive for GTA VI this week. Everything feels like it’s aligning, but we’ve been here before, expectations need to stay in check. If we get to the May 21 earnings call with no update from Rockstar, then I’m hoping Strauss steps in with a solid confirmation that November 19 is locked in. Back in 2018, he publicly guaranteed RDR2 wouldn’t be delayed again, and that reassurance went a long way. I’m optimistic about November, but a definitive statement from Strauss would settle a lot of nerves. How confident are you right now about the November release?

There is a lot of misinformation going around regarding the crunch at Rockstar India currently for GTA 6. First off the crunch is 100% happening but the most important thing to first understand is this isn't a Rockstar issue it's an indian work culture issue. Working till the early hours in the morning is unfortunately quite common in India, work/life balance doesn't really exist at all, my brother in law is a radio jockey, actor and wedding emcee in Gujurat (its common for indians to have multiple jobs) and I spoke to him a week ago and he's getting roughly 2 hours of sleep a night right now, this stuff is common. When you have 1.4 billion people, the competition is fierce you have to be willing to 1up the next guy to get ahead because if you don't there is always someone willing to take your place, that's just the way it is. Rockstar is merely taking advantage of this as most international businesses do. Out of all the studios at Rockstar, Rockstar India is the one I have the most connections at, I literally fly to India next month and will be catching up with a number of devs while I am there. Crunch was always inevitable for GTA 6 otherwise you wouldn't see this game till late 2027 probably. It's gigantic in size and scope and no other developer will be able to match what Rockstar is doing for 15-20 years, there is an absolute insane amount of stuff to test and it comes at an extreme cost and unfortunately Rockstar India is paying the biggest price. When you finally play GTA 6, maybe take a minute to just give thanks to all the the devs at Rockstar and what they are putting themselves through to get this game out the door, I know I certainly will.

I see a lot of people are worried about GTA 6 being delayed again. That Glassdoor review is not verified. Only a few days ago Strauss Zelnick specifically mentioned the November 19th release date. That he would expect a lot of people to call in sick that day. And went on to mention the marketing will begin soon. There is no way he would be talking like this for Rockstar to come along and delay the game a few weeks to a month later. I am certain this game will not be delayed again.

This is difficult to verify. But crunch wouldn’t surprise me at all at this stage. GTA 6 is the biggest, probably most complex video game ever made. They are now fast approaching a deadline and everything has to start coming together for the final product. Again, it’s Glassdoor so difficult to confirm. But it seems like things are all go at Rockstar at the moment to get it out the door in time.

I really can’t see a delay coming for GTA 6. Strauss specifically spoke about marketing beats… He never does this. It’s completely out of character and there was absolutely no need to do it unless he was confident.. I’m not saying it’s impossible, just very unlikely in my opinion.

It’s crazy to think that this time next year we will all have GTA 6, be playing it and…. Have completed it. After all of these years waiting, it genuinely feels mad to even say that. It will be here quicker than we know.
