@RonDeSantis Unlike Florida, California has yet to repeal common core math. Counting is really tough out here.

Florida processes more than 10 million votes in a matter of hours. California takes days — or sometimes even weeks — to count the votes. It’s pathetic — and it’s corrosive to our civic culture.

@RonDeSantis Sad to see you post this. Who exactly is ‘dumping votes?’

@marcjoffe Agree. And since they’re still counting, they should be reporting results daily. How difficult is it to post an update?

There are so many uncounted votes in the bigger California counties that no one can really be sure of outcomes now especially if margins are in the single digits. Ridiculous that we can't say anything definitive more than 24 hours after polls closed.

A national vote counting disgrace. 20 hours after the polls closed, California still can't tell voters who won. That's not democracy. That's dysfunction.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, donor, friend, family member, and voter who stood with our campaign. While the election process continues and the results are not yet final, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have met so many wonderful people throughout CA-10 and to have shared a vision of stronger families, safer communities, and a better California. This campaign was never about one person—it was about our community and our future. Thank you for your trust, encouragement, and support. My commitment to serving the people of CA-10 remains unchanged.

The fact that California elections often can't be resolved for weeks is kind of insane and not common in other electoral systems around the world.

Place them in a ballot box or walk them into a polling place instead of mailing. If you walk them into a polling place please check in and place them in the “same day” vote box instead of the mail ballot box. This will ensure your ballot will not be subject to possible rejection due to signature verification and/or adjudication. Checking in at the polling place counts as signature verification and guarantees your vote will count!

Many Californians don’t realize that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) operates under special federal waivers granted under the federal Clean Air Act — permissions that allow California to set vehicle emissions rules stricter than federal standards. Congress gave California that authority decades ago with the expectation that it would be used responsibly and in the best interests of the public. But today, many Californians are asking an important question: Has CARB gone too far? Families are struggling with rising energy costs, vehicle mandates, fuel regulations, and affordability challenges that increasingly impact working people, commuters, small businesses, truckers, farmers, and seniors. If a federal authority granted to California is being abused or used in ways that harm citizens, Congress has both the right and the responsibility to review that authority and consider reforms, limitations, or repeal of those waivers. Environmental stewardship matters. Clean air matters. But government accountability matters too. Policies should improve lives — not make it harder for families to afford to live in California. As your representative, I will support transparency, accountability, affordability, and policies grounded in both science and common sense. #CA10 #Accountability #CommonSense

@RepNancyMace Even if we didn’t go that far we certainly should not have government officials who have dual citizenship.
