The first not-in-the-attic breakfast. A lot of uncertainty. Sammy and Scottie poked their little heads out to assess the situation. First out in Sammy, then Scottie, and finally Scooter. Meanwhile, Skippy is playing and being goofy.

Okay, attic kitten update time. I went kitten trappin’ this morning. Successfully caught all 3 at one time. Boy did they freak out! Stopped the video, and spent 2 minutes talking to them and reaching into the trap to pet them before they calmed down. I set them downstairs for a minute to interact with Skippy, their brother, and then off to the vet we went. They were very calm on the trip there and back, and at the vet too. Yes, I talked to them quite a bit along the way. The vet says I have 3 very healthy black kittens. Not even any fleas. The vet did give them a bath (did I mention they freaked out when I trapped them? Food went everywhere!). Vet says I apparently took very good care of them. Guess that is good, but it is great for the kittens!

Howard just had his elbow leaning out of his hammock 💖

It's the fact this young innocent man in his final moments on earth where spent realising the police weren't helping him but arresting him. He died without comfort or empathy 😔 Those last minutes could of been spent comforting him instead you left him to die afraid and alone on the ground UNFORGIVABLE ! Shame on you all!

Today, a man has been convicted of the murder of student Henry Nowak in Southampton. Throughout the trial, we have not discussed this case publicly to ensure that justice could be done but now we can share a message from DCC Robert France. orlo.uk/nTX43

Does anyone else feel a brief, gutting despair when they pass a dead animal on the road? That quiet "no" at the wrongness of it, a road cutting through their path and ending their lives. And you just hope you never hit one, because you are not sure you could live with it.
