If you’re now seeing Epstein files, thank PA Congresswoman Summer Lee. Before Massie, Khanna, or MTG jumped on the bandwagon, a Black woman on the Oversight Committee courageously fought and succeeded in getting Congress to subpoena those files, and she’s getting ZERO credit.
Rep. Summer Lee@RepSummerLee

The House subcommittee just PASSED my motion to subpoena the Epstein files. The DOJ must now release them to the Oversight Committee. The American people deserve transparency and accountability, and his victims deserve justice. The wealthy and powerful are not above the law.

Direct action happening today in Minnesota. Don’t let the bots and coordinated disinformation campaign on this shit app convince you the strike isn’t happening or that people stayed home for bad weather.
Sarah Lazare@sarahlazare

Thousands here at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, the site of deportation flights. Clergy have blocked the road at terminal 1 departures singing “before this campaign fails, we’ll all go down to jail. Everybody has a right to live.”

Organizers just confirmed that 50,000+ Minnesotans showed up to march today. 50,000 people. On one of the coldest days in the last decade. Minnesotans couldn’t be more clear: ICE out now.

A massive general labor strike is happening today in Minnesota—the largest in 70 years—with all the major unions participating in complete work and school stoppage to protest ICE terrorism in their communities and demand ICE is removed from their state.

ICE has kidnapped Native Americans and put them in an actual concentration camp. Three members of the Oglala Sioux tribe are being held at Fort Snelling. ICE has no jurisdiction over Native Americans. This should be much bigger news.

if you are horrified by charlie kirk's shooting, then maybe look into the even more gruesome violence that israel has inflicted on the people (especially children) of gaza every day, a genocide which charlie kirk coincidentally supports

Literally none of this is true. By now, it has become apparent that this man is much dumber than people initially thought, but here is why this specific act of ignorance is so common. A thread.

Slavery was standard practice throughout Earth until it was almost entirely ended principally by Anglo-American forces in the 19th and 20th centuries. Slavery still exists in some parts of the world btw. I’m not suggesting Britain was purely angelic, but, nonetheless, this is true.

My name is Mary, I am a literary historian. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Palestine. The belief system he birthed was spread by Paul of Tarsus, & eventually became the religion of the Roman empire. US "Christianity" would be unrecognizable to early Christians. Go fuck yourself.

Lots of guys with names like "Khalil" and "Firas" and "Zaid" and "Shadi" logging on to explain to American Protestants what Christianity is and isn't over the last couple days...
