For a while, @SamuelOtigba , @Tunde_OD and @hackSultan have been working on a 250M Naira tech scholarship and laptop fund for a specific group of people.
Each person gets 160k Naira and some will also get a laptop. I’ve spoken to so many amazing people about this, including @Harri_obi, we will be announcing soon. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
This scholarship will cover 3 specific things :
1. Relevant Learning
2. Jobs and internships managed by Jobs59
3. Career progression
If you need a reminder for when it drops, kindly RT and drop a comment.

When I wanted to launch my Photoshop and CorelDRAW course, I got a lot of messages in my inbox.
Two of them really stood out.
One person wanted me to sell the course for ₦3,000, even though it was priced at ₦20,000 as of then . Another person wanted it for ₦1,500.
Their reason?
They said they had paid for different courses before and got little or no value in return. They didn't want to risk paying that kind of money again until they were sure they would actually learn something.
At the time, I thought it was strange.
But looking at some of the things I see online today, I understand why people think that way.
Yesterday, I came across a flyer advertising a complete graphic design course covering Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other design software just for 3k.
The first thing that came to my mind was that the flyer looked AI-generated. Whether it was or not isn't even the point. The fact that it gives that impression is something worth thinking about.
If you're teaching graphic design, your own designs should be one of your biggest selling points. Your flyer is part of your portfolio. It should reflect the level of creativity and skill students can expect from you.
This is one of the reasons many people have lost trust in online courses. They've paid for promises before and ended up disappointed.
I'm not saying the person isn't skilled, and I'm definitely not saying using AI is wrong. AI is a useful tool. My point is that if you're going to teach people professionally, keep learning, keep improving, and make sure your work inspires confidence. Your marketing should reinforce the value you're promising to deliver.

Finally finished putting this together. 🧡
I compiled all the YouTube channels that helped me grow as a motion designer into one resource.
Before I post it…
Is there any motion design creator or YouTube channel you think deserves to be on the list?

Also, when should I drop the thread?
This weekend or next week? 👀
