The @JeffCityPost5 Juniors are the 2025 Missouri Legion AA state champions, beating Ste. Genevieve Post 150 for a 3-2 victory today in Cape Girardeau. Chase Richard pitched a 6-hitter with 5 K’s, striking out the final 2 batters with the tying run on third base to end the game.

The @JeffCityPost5 Seniors won the Missouri Legion AAA Zone 1 Tournament today, beating Moberly Post 6 for a 3-2 victory. Hayden Schlup was the winning pitcher, striking out 7 batters in 4 2/3 innings. Kris Haley’s 2-run double in the 2nd inning scored the deciding runs.
