To put into perspective what the La.-bred "Touch" has done... Since 2024, there have been 16 recorded Beyer Speed Figures of 106 or higher by horses at a distance of a mile or longer. Touchuponastar has three of them. Sovereignty is the only other horse with more than one.

The Saints are injecting some much-needed juice to their RB room. They have finished near the bottom of the NFL in explosive runs and big plays the last few years. Clearly trying to address this aspect of their offense with the signings of Etienne and Chandler.

@btoshi25 I hear ya. But the OL was even more injury-riddled when Shough took over and he was able to produce and make it work.

@JeffDuncan_ thing is, those guys weren’t the reason we’ve been struggling as of late SMDH O line has been an issue in front QBs that haven’t been doing well, running plays by coaches that are doing their jobs right

@JeffDuncan_ There is no reason to keep AK on the team if you're not gonna build a deadly screen game on offense around him. Running him up the middle 10+ times a game is a waste. He wasn't very good in pass pro either last year.

@Captain_LMJ98 I understand where you're coming from on this, but I don't think it's necessarily them "wanting" change, as it is them feeling it's necessary because of extenuating circumstances: age, salary, role changing, etc.

@JeffDuncan_ Jeff... doesn't it feel like the Saints coaching staff wants a change in the lockerroom leadership in the building? Maybe a complete severance from the "old guard" as they move fwd.
