@cguess @gijn @StarTribune It definitely requires troubleshooting, and isn't a substitute for knowing how to code. But what it produces helps with scaffolding and thinking – and sometimes it does just work right out of the prompt, particularly for some of the more trivial things we do in data journalism

@gijn @JeffHargarten @StarTribune And... most of it will be wrong. Often in subtle and deeply challenging ways to fix unless you're already a very skilled and advanced coder. In which case, unless it's a trivial problem, it's probably easier to write yourself.
