@mkristensen When I click Run Test, the previous results should immediately disappear. Then if I look away for 5 seconds and look back, it is obvious if the new test run has completed.

@mkristensen I run NUnit tests in TestCentric (ie. NUnit Gui) because the interface in VS for finding and running tests is so bad. If I right click on a method and choose Run Test, you can't tell if the test just ran a second time, or is still showing you the results from the previous run.

What features or extensions make you jump from Visual Studio to other IDEs and editors to perform certain tasks?

@aelluswamy @typesfast This also applies in Maple Grove MN where 494 and 94 merge going North. Center Lanes merge together instead of outside lanes.

@aelluswamy At this exit of the 101 North > Octavia Street Off Ramp there is no merge lane, two lanes of 50+ mph come together instantly with zero advanced notice to either side. Absolutely horrendous freeway design. Humans mess this up all the time, you simply can’t be in those lanes as they merge. However, Tesla FSD doesn’t understand this yet, and will certainly kill someone here soon if you don’t fix it.

I really think Tesla should consider making drones, in partnership with SpaceX. Tesla has one of the strongest battery supply chains in the world, with some of the lowest cost batteries per unit of energy density. This is super important for a flying object - the better the battery density, the farther it can fly for the same amount of energy. Tesla already does this very well with cars, especially for lower cost EVs. Tesla can tap SpaceX for the frame/chassis to make it as lightweight as possible with specialized materials. For the motors, Tesla already has great expertise. Drone motors would be a smaller version of the car ones. Propellers, once again, they can tap SpaceX. Everything else, like controllers, cameras, sensors, antennas, etc are trivial compared to the other things. On top of that, Tesla's vision-based neural nets (aka FSD) would be a perfect thing for autonomous drones. Imagine Amazon being able to buy 1 million drones from Tesla that automatically scan, pick up, drop off, and charge without a human in the loop. China has a HUGE % of the world's commercial drone market, and TBH is a huge national security risk for the US. The US is much better equipped on the military front, but having a player like Tesla enter the commercial market would drive innovation on all fronts. Perhaps this is the groundwork Tesla can lay before entering the eVTOL market.

@Dave_DotNet We use 3rd party DLLs which are not written in .NET Standard. Some have gone out of business. We will have to make an out of process EXE and talk via proxy just so we can upgrade. Painful.

For prod apps you have on .NET Framework, why haven't you upgraded? 🤔 Are devs blocked from upgrading due to technical or resourcing constraints or choose to remain on #dotnet Framework as there's just no need or business case to upgrade given their apps work and .NET Framework is still supported?

Drove my Tesla on a trip in 20 degree weather which included a supercharger stop. It preconditioned the battery for 80 minutes before getting to the supercharger, which is ridiculous! It used 11.8% of my battery which is 10% more than the route planner predicted. Needs fixing.
