Today, we honor six American service members who gave their lives in defense of liberty. Their courage and sacrifice remind us that the freedoms we enjoy are never free. As these heroes were returned home, the dignified transfer served as a solemn reminder of the immense weight carried by those like President @realdonaldtrump and others who are called upon to send America’s sons and daughters into danger. It was a moment of reverence—one that underscored both the cost of leadership and the sacred obligation we owe to those who wear the uniform. No words can fully ease the loss to their families. As President Abraham Lincoln once wrote to a mother who lost five sons, “I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming.” May God bless these families!
