@meonmytwocents @tifasweetie Phobias can be illnesses, but not always and not all of them. Transphobia is not an illness. When we say they are sick in the head, its used as a figure of speech, not that they literally have a condition.

You declare them “settled,” treat disagreement as moral violence, and then congratulate yourself for defending open inquiry. Calling “equal rights” non-negotiable while declaring the other side insane and dangerous for daring to question whether global warming is even real is not a serious distinction. It's just your dogma in action. No debate is permitted, just follow what is "settled". You're in a secular religion. Some might say a cult. Nope. Debating those things is the diversity of thought that matters. Declaring topics "settled" so they cannot be questioned is the opposite of open inquiry — it is dogma enforced by social and institutional pressure. It is cultist. Gravity is physics with overwhelming empirical confirmation; slavery is a moral consensus against ownership of people. Those are not the same category as gender roles, sex/biology distinctions, climate policy trade-offs, or how political corruption actually operates. Treating the latter as closed questions is exactly how you shut down evidence, data, and dissenting models.The pattern is clear: the Right will still argue the contested claims with data, history, and trade-offs. The other side, your side, treats selected conclusions as sacred, polices, and treats disagreement itself as harm. There is not protection of the truth. That is refusing the debate because you fear being turned on by the cult.

Because the question is irrelevant, the point is that there is diversity of throught in the right and not the left. Of course diversity of thought is a good thing, because it allows you to debate bad idea instead of letting them fester in dark corners. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
