I went on @ABC7 Tuesday morning to alert property owners about a tax savings program for those hit hard by the recent storms. Visit our website to learn more about this program and others the Assessor’s Office has available.

I believe that we can all envision ourselves trying to save countless lives just as #BrandonTsay did. Today people gathered to celebrate the bravery and heroism of Brandon who subdued the #MontereyPark gunman last Saturday night as he attempted to continue his rampage of carnage.

The 124th #GoldenDragonParade, organized by the @CCC_LA was a great event! I enjoyed seeing the community come together to celebrate this important tradition in #Chinatown. We must continue to show up in solidarity and not let fear overcome us. Happy #yearoftherabbit!

Congratulations to Assesmblywoman @BlancaNPacheco and best wishes as she begins her duties representing the 64th AD. Blanca has a wealth of experience in municipal politics and she will do a great job bringing leaders from all levels of government to fight for her district.

I want to thank the Monterey Park Police Department, the LA County Sheriff and all other law enforcement agencies working diligently to find the suspect and bringing him to justice.

I am devastated to learn of the mass shooting in Monterey Park on the eve of the Lunar New Year. I had spent the afternoon enjoying the Lunar New Year celebration with the local community and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected. 1/2
