As #harvest2024 rolls along I’m seeing lots of tweets about guys getting excellent and quick service from their equipment dealers. I’ve also been fortunate to have great service out of the #Brandt Melfort site. Here’s a big thanks to all the mechanics that work long, hard hours!
@rhofford It’s a long term game. Takes more than 1 year but you haven’t start somewhere. Treflan before a canola crop. Avadex before a wheat crop, then one year of a RR crop then back to Liberty. Just my opinion
Have a #farmfan AB-12B grain dryer with the upgraded electronic controls for the dryer time settings. For some reason the high heat doesn’t reset back to the input dryer time after a batch. Anyone have this issue and a fix? Thanks. #harvest2024
@JeffTurets Yes, the “anti twist” bar should always point down towards the side the swing is mounted on. So, it would have to be mounted in the opposite position if the farmer mounts the swing to the other side.
Thanks for mentioning this. We'll add this info in the manual going forward.
Question for all the auger guys out there. Which slot is this supposed to be on? Want my swing to be on the left side of the tractor, so do I need to move this? Swing is currently on the right side of tractor. Thanks. nothing in the manual from @meridianmfg
@JeffTurets@meridianmfg Yes. If u change the swing to opposite side...switch that compensator link around....best way to check is have swing raised, then lower to gnd & watch how far auger tip sways. Switch link & try again. It should cut it down significantly
