People voluntarily choose to pay for these private companies to provide services for them similar to how we choose restaurants instead of paying a tax to a centralized monopoly. Hope this helps.

@Jeff_Barrison @ZoomerIsland Then you'll need enforcement agencies to make the private companies comply, surveillance to ensure compliance, prisons for people that dont comply. All of that needs taxation to work. I wonder if yall ever think these things through.

I believe that the NAP is an ontologically proven ethic for law and should be the law of the land while each patch can set their own standards for their people who voluntarily choose to live there
