This past week my kids & I got to see my Dad for possibly the last time. We had a great week hanging out. Best of all, he & I got in one last catch for old times sake. It’s something I will never forget & always cherish. Thanks Dad for the catch … Love ya! #onelastcatch

If y’all get the chance to have a catch with your Dad, do it! It’s pretty special when you get older. There’s nothing like smelling that leather & hearing the ball pop the glove one last time. All those childhood memories start to come back. Hope y’all get the chance someday.

Today is one of the most special college football days of the year - the @ArmyNavyGame. Today I’m riding with my guy, @seanZwill, GO @NavyFB! Beat Army! @ken_niumatalolo - it won’t be the same w/o you. Forever much admiration & respect. You make college football better.

Congrats to @PaladinFootball, and @FUCoachHendrix on another great year and FCS Football playoff run. Showed great physical and mental toughness last night in their playoff game vs. @MontanaGrizFB. Former @BlueHoseFtball QB, @_tylerhuff, congratulations on a tremendous career!

Congratulations to @KoachAdams and his family for being named the new Defensive Coordinator for @UWGFootball! He has a reputation for building great defenses when he was @SCState_Fb. A great start and a bright future for @UWGFootball.

Our prayers are with the family of Dr. Charles Stanley, who went home to Heaven today at the age of 90. Dr. Stanley was the founder of @InTouchMin and pastored @FirstBaptistATL for more than 50 years. I appreciate his faithfulness in unashamedly teaching the Word of God. For many who travel, and also during Covid-19 when people couldn’t attend their own churches, Dr. Stanley’s messages on television not only inspired us but fed us spiritually. His teaching was solid—He did not compromise on God’s Word like so many others do today. God used him to impact so many lives around the world, and he will be greatly missed. Dr. Stanley and my father @BillyGraham were together on several occasions. They’re pictured here in 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia.

These final few weeks with my dad have been precious beyond words. At the end of every visit, he asked me to pray for him. Which of course I did. On my knees beside the big leather chair he was confined to for the past several months. But as I was leaving his house this past Saturday night, he asked if he could pray for me. As if he knew. Then, as was his habit, he said, “I couldn’t be prouder of you Andy.” The source of a word determines its weight. Those were wonderfully weighty words. And his final words to me. I’ll miss him every day until I see him again.
