@naznasx We just got ours 15 minutes ago. I was 38,000 for queue in Cardiff. Only premium tickets that are more than double the standard price though.

@JeffreyRoot @TicketmasterUK Hey, the system wouldn’t allow me to purchase any tickets stating there ‘was something wrong’ before suggesting I was a bit and suspending my session.

@TicketmasterUK, what a waste of time and energy. I was excited to book Cardiff oasis tickets. The fact that your system was overwhelmed and severely under performed is a disgrace. Over 4 hours of patience and no tickets is simply a pisstake. You should be ashamed..

@umb_o_ Yes. Cardiff the first night is where we got ours. It spun for 5 minutes finding tickets and gave us the option for premium standing only for 320 each.

@TicketmasterUK @oasis so - regardless of all the other trauma of pre queues and being accused of being a bot - I’ve moved 2000 spaces in this queue in 35 minutes. So projection is 21 hours in the queue!! Really!? And is this 75k for Cardiff on the 4th or whole tour?!? #Oasis25

if you were in a drunken bar fight, and you got to choose any player in mlb history (at prime) to back you up, who would you choose?

Proud dad moment. This team beat us twice in the state tournament last year. First game back and we won 15-13. Son closed the game out as well to go along with this shot into the gap.

If I were the US President, I would implement these 8 wild policies. 1. We would raise the retirement age from 65 to 70 in a way where Seniors would LOVE it. 2. Suspend immigration for an entire year. Watch the rest👇🏽

Traditional Gyms Will Disappear in 10 Years Gyms have to be some of the most poorly monetized businesses on the planet. I’m always amazed by how poorly most gyms understand their customers, how they fail to understand the customer journey - and fail to MONETIZE key inflection points of the customer journey. Gym’s idea of ‘monetization’ is plastering garbage advertising everywhere for things like trashy energy drinks and other products that are the antithesis of a healthy lifestyle. This environmental pollution overriding gyms and rammed in patron’s faces degrades the brand and undermines trust and authority on a healthy lifestyle. It’s also noise, a distraction and a complete eyesore. In any one month, I’m generating $700 - $3,000 in related economic activity that could be captured by a modern gym, a lifestyle center. I’m not alone. Why can’t I consult with a nutritionist? Why can’t I sign up for a meal plan and have the meals ready? Why can’t I perform blood work and get tests performed? Why can’t I get a sports massage? Why can’t I buy quality vitamins and supplements? Buying quality training shoes, gloves and equipment can be a PIA, why can’t I buy them at the gym? I see some women wear new outfits everyday to the gym, a captive audience and more failure to capture revenue. Instead of big screens pumping garbage advertising, why don’t those screens run intelligent instructional content to encourage members? Just like public service announcements at the beginning of movies, no talking, no smoking, etc., those screens could be running content targeting the bad behavior of gym clowns to make them more self conscious, in an attempt to improve gym culture. Often, I’m just sick of going out and drinking. I’d pay a premium fee to just have a nice alcohol free place to hang out at with likeminded people. I’m picturing Joe Rogan’s back studio/ gym with a nice juice bar and healthy snacks. A place to watch fights and hang with the boys without having to get smashed. If I didn’t dislike physical businesses so much, I’d probably do it myself. Someone will. It seems obvious such a blue ocean exists when all the gyms are fighting it out over the same old stale paradigm. Membership fees, PT packages and ads. I’m sure similar models are being explored, I imagine they will become the norm.

@Travis_Jamison I didn't realize how badly dressed I was until I moved to France. I think comfort and cheaper clothing is more valued in the US. Here people make less, but buy quality, well fitted staples. Also for US men, the stigma of dressing "gay".

Why do you think, on average, are Americans so poorly dressed?

So I do think the strike is ridiculous because life expectancy is longer and you need to think of the future and it's a comparatively fair ask. Not because they just don't want to work...don't confuse that with their healthy personal time values.

I've been here 1.5 years now and I had issues adapting to 2 hour lunches, my favorite places closing for winter/random vacation, making reservations EVERYWHERE and not just showing up, but it's just the French having healthy personal time ethics.

French citizens protesting over raising retirement age to 64. Most of Europe retirement age was raised to 67 (longer life expectancy). The criticism is misdirected. The French have a healthy personal time ethic - don't confuse it with not wanting to work.

The French take pride in their work and they're damn good at it. They're specialists. The waiters don't side gig. The butchers, bakers and candlestick makers do 1 thing and they do it well.
