The Ontario government just announced a #PaidSickDays program that offers 3 days for a virus that requires people to isolate for a minimum of 10 days. The cognitive dissonance is maddening.

While it's unlikely kids will return to in-class instruction this school year, we need to plan ahead. Labour day is just over 4 months away. For teachers/staff to be fully vaccinated when class resumes in September, they need their 1st shot in the next 2.5 weeks.

As politicians discuss #PaidSickDays while my essential worker patients languish in the ICU...it's ironic that the man who can fix this inequity, has taken a (paid) day off work.

I know it’s not something to rationally get upset about, but man, having to cancel my solo trip to Prague has really bummed me out. I only discovered solo travel in May 2019. I went to Florence and had 5 days of flawless holidaying. I was sold on holidaying by oneself. (1/8)
