hot take: from my research and delving deeper into other games failing/succeeding in beating hyperinflation, the solution is unfortunately not to make farming easier, but to create more money sinks (untradable items and perks so they don’t circulate back into the economy). it sounds counterproductive somewhat yes, but implementing those sinks in conjunction with slowly lowering the prices via harmony might genuinely work in making diamonds worth more, therefore making farming more valuable.

a full C4 day in 30 seconds (45 minutes irl) on an account with no multiplier passes had to buy a toothbrush at one point to try and do a quest in my journal (which didnt even work for some reason) so thats why it jumped from 7k to 6k at one point imagine being a new player and playing for a full 45 minutes, almost an hour, and because you bought a TOOTHBRUSH you only made like about 150 diamonds. in almost an hour.
